It reads the pages you publish and answers visitor questions from them, in plain language, with the page it used linked on every answer.
A refusal when there is no source
Nothing is invented. With no registered source the widget declines and says why, and offers your help page if you have set one.
One line of code
One script tag. Keys are issued for your domain, so a key copied out of your page source does not answer anywhere else.
Preprod and prod
Two environments with separate corpora and keys. Test against preprod, promote it when you are satisfied.
A registry, not footnotes
Every page it answers from is recorded with its URL, fetch date and hash. The citations are a view of that registry, and you can ask for it.
